That's my fear, that she continues doing that kind of music because it was successful and she felt it's what GP wanted from her. Of course, nobody can't stop her from doing what she wants, and it would make sense if she wants to keep being successful; but I personally wouldn't support her anymore, not here for Avril releasing messy and stupid EDM songs. I had enough with TBDT album and all the bratty songs released as singles last albums.
And frankly, I'd be really susprised if HK was successful, not only because it's a bad song (to me) but also because it doesn't really bring anything new to the table. And if she released a viral and controversial video, she would look so desperate that I couldn't fault people for laughing at and slamming her. It would be the final nail in the coffin for her reputation as possible serious artist, even among her own fans.
and then she may also announce the end of her career 
. If that's the case, I hope either it's released and it flops miserably and she takes the not-so-hint to stop with the bratty songs, or that there isn't single at all if it's going to be HK. I wouldn't want that song smashed and she started thinking that's what "people expect from me" as she said in a recent review (not about HK, but about another thing). It would make me unable to defend her anymore, not after TBDT and all the bratty first singles released for last two albums
