I can't get the hate for This is How to Let the Light In, i must tell you guys to be honest that I loathed TIHWD when the album was released and I thought of deleting it but when I finally saw the light and I listen to it carefully I realized it's a carefree song... It's no big deal but it's great, now I love it!

I'm not really sure how the GP would respond to TIHWD (considering they ignored Uncle a pop gem) but I got a feeling it would either smash or flop real hard.

And Katy should definitely not release it if she wants to be treated seriously. I want people to see her as an real artist and a talented singer-songwriter and TIHWD definitely is not appropriate for that image.

Eh. Not gonna walk on eggshells. They (including their Twitter policeman mother) desperately need a sense of humor. I think it's their collective behavior that prevents me from shelling out any $. Unlike with Prism (I bought the limited edition deluxe, walmart zinepak and the standard).

That said, I am quite a fan of lady "it's Halloween everyday"'s 2 singles. In fact I have played them each more than "unconditionally".

I love the lyrics. The melody just feels a little weak in the chorus. A remix may be the secret sauce though.

As it currently stands, it's a great album track that encapsulates the album's theme and message.
