I can't even remember how I've come across Britt Nicole's "Gold". All I know is that it when I first heard it, its catchy melody, sweet vocals and empowering lyrics caught me. I am actually not familiar about who Britt Nicole is, so I was shocked to see her album being sold in a praise-music store. Hoping to hear more from her this 2014.

This song was originally part of the wannabes but it ranked far from that position right now as it grew on me a lot for the past two months. I've been constantly hearing it on stores and parties. I've actually come across this song last year but it never caught me. Thanks to mainstream radio for bringing me closer to this surefire EDM masterpiece.

A close friend of mine dubs this song as the "most nonsensical song ever". Though I barely agree with that statement, I don't care cause it's The Wanted. I've always been a big fan of boybands and I didn't even have a hard time liking this one. It may not be as brilliant as "Glad You Came" and their previous efforts, but it's one damn catchy guilty pleasure.

Second of the multiple back-to-back appearances on one set. After the lyrically-challenged "Walks Like Rihanna", the boys released a youthful anthem through "we Own The Night". This song, I think, is reminiscent of fun.'s "We Are Young". It transcends the youth nowadays. Sadly, this is The Wanted's final appearance on the list.
