I really think Nicki is doing a good job at getting back to her rap roots. With the exception of Va Va Voom (which was on the original album too), the Re-Up bangs hard, and it wasn't any poppier than what other rappers put out. This year she's stuck to some pretty good verses and featured singles (I Wanna Be With You, Freaks, Tapout, I'm Out, Love More, and Clappers), and didn't do any work with pop artists like she did in 2011-12 (Bieber, Rihanna, David Guetta, Madonna).
This remix is fire, and I can't wait for her next album. I feel like it'll blow away her first two.
