Another point though, nearly every single homophobic slur I have ever heard has been from a white male. I have never EVER gotten any gay hate from a black male or female. I have only gotten some hate from hispanic men and women, and no hate from asian men or women. All of the homophobic **** I've heard has been straight white men.

I am attracted to both males and females, although with females, I am particularly nervous and have difficulty talking to them as soon as the status of a relationship elevates from friendship. Being raised in a deeply religious family. My entire extended family are African Christians.
I grew up going to church so many of my family friends and close friends are very religious.
It terrifies me that at some not too distant point (I'm 22), I'm going to have to choose between being honest with myself and those around me OR the love and respect of those I love the most.

Being Muslim, I've definitely struggled with my sexuality.
I'm finally in a (bit) of a better place, but my parents are major homophobes, and anytime there's someone gay on TV, they always share their disgust, and that still kills me.
I'm just waiting till I finish University and move out, to come out to them. I'm pretty sure they're gonna reject me, but im not sure I even wanna be a part of a family that has made me feel the way I have over the past 6 years. I'm pretty sure they know i'm gay (I openly stan for Gaga ) yet they still choose to make those comments. I just don't wanna be alone, but I cant stand to be with my family anymore.
