I watched the 1st episode of Coven because of how light, funny and sassy it looked from the commercials. And I'm so addicted now!

Had the new season be Asylum-like, I would not be keen on watching the show (even though I like horror), but now I started watching Asylum too. I think Coven made miracles for the show, promotion-wise.

Coven is good, but the witch theme could ve been so much better in a more serious and dark atmosphere, i wanted the Salem Witch Trials,jessica lange as mary eastey, katy bates as rebecca nurse (2 of 3 sisters that migrated to us accused of witchcraft and hanged)

For me it's Asylum > Coven > Murder House.

I agree with what some of ya'll have said about Coven not being dark enough. However it has that comedic effect and can still be serious at the same time like with the Scream movies. Asylum was the perfect dark season and I hope the next season is just as dark.

I'm still loving this season though, if it was darker then it would've topped Asylum for me for sure.

I just found out Queen Angela is coming back next season. I can't wait. But will she be able to top Marie Laveau? I'm not quite sure. Angela has served all season and I can't wait to see what they do with her character.

I liked Asylum,
but it felt very messy and all over the place

It lacked cohesion

It dragged for a while,
and there were so many little side stories that ended up having nothing to do with anything

It almost felt like they were just making stuff up as they went along,
and in the last few episodes it seemed like they just rushed and started cramming things in

The finale was so corny and lame,
and same goes for Murder House

They were setting us up for this intense thrill ride
that, ultimately, ended up going nowhere

I think the main reason for this is that it's just 1 season with 12 episodes,
and it's not very easy to tell a story like this with such a small space

I'm very happy that Coven is coming back with more
It's my favorite season so far
A good balance of darkness and humor
Kinda True Blood-ish in nature

I just hope they bring it to a proper close if it doesn't spark a spin-off or continuation season

The last season got to an all time low and it was most likely due to how dark it was

Just watched seasons one and two and they were incredible. The scenes with Sister Jude at the end of Asylum was so emotional.
