Well it is obviously not about how intricated and difficult choreographies are (let's be honest, bey's choreos aren't anything special). It's about the artist's deliver and body expression which elevates these choreos and make you and me believe they are better than they really are. That's what earlier britney did and current Bey do.
Beyonce has the Super Bowl. Rihanna has a picture that is continuously spread around the internet because people like to look at her blueberry muffin face and laugh.
Belly dancing is some of the hardest most difficult **** there is. Its takes A LOT of control.
Shakira uses FAR FAR more in her routines than a normal bellydancer. Most bellydancers work in cabarets/casinos etc. That's why they're not recognized as pro's. Shakira is in a league of her own.
Not when it's all the dancing is made of. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove, but Bey is not a professional dancer. She's a great performer who can dance and has a heck lot of charisma.
What point are you trying to make? No one is claiming Beyonce is a professional dancer. I'm pointing out, as someone who is a trained dancer, the claim the Britbots try to constantly make that "shaking ur hips isn't dancing!" is stupid as a hell.
