I'm pretty sure Yuri or Hyoyeon said that they hate the whole aegyo thing. SM making them keep their "sweetheart" image as long as possible.

if y'all wanna send a message, next time they come out with an aegyo song, don't watch it a million times trying to "get it" or "warm up to it," don't buy it on iTunes, don't support it at all, and definitely don't buy the physical copy
and don't fcking make avatars, gifsets, any of that with the visuals
let it die, let the fan reception become cold, and they will notice little by little.

tbh I never really loved IGAB, I stopped playing it after they finished promotions.

Tbh I see nothing wrong with their bright image. There is a fine line between something light and catchy like Hoot and ridiculous, over the top, inappropriate for their age aegyo like Oh!. As long as they don't backtrack THAT far into Gee/Oh! territory, stuff like Genie and Hoot is acceptable though not preferable. This is also the reason Love & Girls is so terrible.
Though they've been pretty good lately. The Boys, followed by Flower Power + Paparazzi, then IGAB which was mostly good in terms of image except for the video, then Galaxy Supernova and My oh My. With the exception of the IGAB vid and Love & Girls (god, why does it exist?) SM seems to be trying to make the transition, though it's not fast enough and certainly belated.
Let Mn. Mn. or whatever it is they were teasing come out before you go crazy.

I agree 
Besides SM can't take the risk of suddenly doing a Girls Day-esque or a Sunmi theme
for the next comeback, i mean their image would be completely ruined
or at least leave the GP confused.
Especially considering how important image is for SNSD.
They should stick to concepts that are feminine but mature.

Well is it a lot? That's the thing I considered too, seeing as how its mainly meant for people that will buy tickets/merch a lot and are able to spend that much money on them ($25 shipping ) You seem like a dedicated stan so I would say go for it but its ultimately up to you
