Aren't a majority of people in Latin America mixed?
You can't bond races together and then add a regional name to it and call it a race-- it's much deeper than that.
Surely identifying as a 'Latino/Hispanic' is easier than explaining a mix that is not so easy to explain aka mestizo as previously mentioned, but it's not a race.
It's a shame I can't identify under the races but ultimately, race means very little in my case. My personal background puts me with some kind of mixture of European/White (Spanish and French), Indigenous/Native and Black. It's too much of a medley to make anything of it.

I know but don't you think it's fair to Latino people to be able to identify their race as Latino if they want. I mean +18 million is kind of hard to fight against.
