It's Radio ARTPOP's official account, run by Tim who of course talks with Emma, who is a member of the Haus of Gaga who thus has affiliation with Gaga. I don't think Radio ARTPOP would just throw Gaga under the bus and say that she sanctioned the idea of the "true fan" bullsh*t just to take heat off of Emma. Look directly in the quote from radio ARTPOP on GGD:

I regret that "true fan" was ever thrown around, and I personally never said it and never would, but I know that as much as Emma didn't want to say it, Gaga wanted her to.

Isn't that whole statement one big contradiction?
You have to spread love and peace online as fan, if not you get called names like "fake fans", which also contradicts to what she wanna potray. It's like a never-ending circle, actually everybody is wrong in it, just the "elite" in this case which are Gaga, Haus and Radio ARTPOP take their message as the only one and everything that goes against it is "bad".

Gaga should be careful about that, throwing around the word "true fan". Sure, I've dragged Gaga before but in jest. At the end of the day, still was still my favorite artist. I don't think it's fair of her to talk through a fan, trying to tell us what deems us "real" and "fake". I've been to two of her concerts, I have bought all of her albums (some in multiples) and I have supported her since 2008. Excuse the crassness, but just because not all my posts are super positive/constructive, that makes me fake and hateful? Can you see where I'm coming from? I don't think fans should have to be put through all of these "tests" to deem themselves just that. Let the music speak for itself.

Interesting. I COULD see the media construing her words and just doing the most. But at the same time...having a fan say it is bad, too. I guess Gaga is kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.
