Blown Away was a solid album though, I loved almost every song, the rest were growers.
However, Some Hearts will always be my favorite album, she has yet to top it for me.

Thats the ONLY album that seems like filler central to me and im just not having it for her next flawless era tbh.

Blown Away is Carrie's best album to date! Some Hearts and Carnival Ride were cohesive, but no songs really stood out for me.

In Blown Away, you have the Legendary Trio (Good Girl, Blown Away, Two Black Cadillacs) and some golden tracks like Wine After Whiskey, Forever Changed, Do You Think About Me and Good in Goodbye.

Blown Away > Carnival Ride > Play On > Some Hearts

I was really disappointed by Blown Away to be honest.

She said it was going to be her "most authentic country sounding" and "best album yet" and hyped the **** out of it, but honestly.. almost two years later I only use Two Black Cadillacs + Wine After Whiskey.

Cupid's Got a Shotgun, Good in Goodbye and One Way Ticket were cute at first but faded interest quickly. Nobody Ever Told You, Leave Love Alone , Who Are You and Thank God for Hometowns are all pretty awful now as well.

I hope we get some more of the Play On cuts on album number five. I'd love to see Sugar Rush, Oklahoma Wind and Lie to Me Again on future albums. They're all solid songs and I think Sugar Rush would do amazing if released.

I just hope she doesn't hype the **** out of album number five again.

When will Play On have anything with a story like BA/TBC?

Album 5 will probably underperform imo. I'm thinking like 225-250k 1st week unless she releases near Christmas, and it'll barely go platinum unless she has a huge crossover smash which she probably won't

There is a reason Some Hearts remains the superior in sales and her biggest single sucess to date.
