IASF was so basic. I stopped staning for her that era. Like half the album (smash into you, ave Maria, scared of lonely, save the hero etc) was generic and lacked any real meaning / felling. I'm glad she didn't go that route this time, this her most emotional album yet

I think because it came from Dr. Luke's camp people think it's generic but I think it's the opposite, it's not a conventional pop song
