I agree, ARTPOP really should've been dual-disc. Don't know about splitting it into two genres, maybe one for ART and one for POP. Honestly, I know a lot of y'all don't want to hear it, but ARTPOP did not need some of the songs it has. Ideally:

3 G.U.Y.
4 Sexxx Dreams f/Rihanna
5 Do What U Want
6 Fashion!
7 Manicure
8 Swine
9 ARTPOP
10 Dope **a different version, though --- this version does not fit well on ARTPOP IMO**

Mary Jane Holland is a cute bop I get my life to. But it's so, so unnecessary It could've been released for free on the app or some ****. Same goes for Donatella, the song is cute but is pretty much recyclable trash that was not needed... at all As for Jewels n Drugs... We all know the answer to that.

I really think she would've been better off including songs like "Temple", "Brooklyn Nights" and "Tea".
I'm really over her annoying ballads that are all rock-like. They're always like weird wrenches in the flow of her albums.
It just doesn't match the rest of her record ever. It's irritating. She can't do songs that are mostly rock and then
do songs that are complete and utter dancepop. She can, but it just gets old because she does it every era.

Now, as much as Gaga is a powerhouse of ideas, she ALWAYS had brilliant collaborators who helped her filter those ideas. The reason why The Fame and TFM did so well is because there was a cohesiveness to that work, both musically and visually. She deferred to her Haus, management and although still ultra active in the creation of the presentations, she had a TEAM.

Now, the team is no longer there. Vince is a great guy, but he was always a yes man to her, not a real partner. It was Troy who guided her in the recent years. The industry was buzzing after their breakup. For Troy to give up his cash cow was unthinkable. Don't make the mistake of thinking that Gaga could just break that contract herself. She does not have THAT much power yet. Interscope owns her hand and foot, it's a 360 deal. For them it was an Event Horizon, not in a good way. So for Troy to depart, and before the cycle started, meant that Gaga was truly acting out and taking the reigns and was impossible to handle
