I don't think it was experimental by normal means but it was definitely a bit experimental for Taylor--same with Red. If you compare Speak Now to the debut and Fearless, there was definitely a lot of different stuff going on with it, and she definitely experimented with different sounds (compared to what she had in the past.)

As much as I want more Taylor in my life I feel like this is too soon after Red, which I still listen to reguarly. Since she went and released every song as a single, there hasn't been a real break, and I think the GP needs one before embracing the next album.

10 months is plenty of time for a break. She had Eyes Open on radio from April-June. 2012 and Ours + Safe and Sound before that. So technically she only had 2 months of break between eras.

Heard a demo today.. Sound pro-grass, like the CMA performance, but ended up intensifying in the end. Lyrics were amazing too.

omg she's actually going to be working with Max Martin and Shellback again? I'm so here for this. But I really do love her country songs too, "State Of Grace", "Red", "All Too Well", "Holy Ground" and "Starlight" are all flawless. I have a feeling that I'm going to love this new record.

Those being considers country songs.

I loved the album RED but it was definitely a more cross over album than a country album, and I wouldn't be surprised if this next album is a full cross over into her pop genre, which im here for because she had some pretty good bops.

The ONLY thing I hope for is more variety in her track listing even though shes the breakup queen.
