the democrat party has supporters in black, latin, urban, poor (although they don't vote tons), jewish, and asian communities, and has an increasing hold on the middle class
the republican party has some middle class, most upper class, and lots of white people
the gender vote is usually pretty split although women lean slightly towards democrat
as our country becomes less and less white i think the republicans will have a harder and harder time getting votes unless they make serious changes to their platforms

What America NEEDS is a libertarian president who will have America stop being a police state as Obama and Bush made sure of, focus on self rejuvenation of the economy by allowing proper use of the United State's humongous stockpile of natural resources (specifically oil) so there is no more foreign dependence, who will restore powers back to the states like the founding fathers intended, and finally who will cut spending, taxes and shrink the size of the government to try and control the absolutely horrendous debt.

What America is going to GET is either a liberal democrat who will increase spending and taxes, focus more time on social issues than economic ones and will plunge the country into a deeper hole (Clinton), or we will get a moderate Republican who will just try to appease everybody while accomplishing nothing( Christie)

But in response to this thread I do not think Clinton will win the election but Christie will. Partly because I cannot see a lot of men in the US voting for a woman, plus the fact that Obama's second term has been pretty dismal and Christie is far from the staunch conservatives that have been getting the bad press.

on christie though, good luck to him on getting the party nomination, he's gonna need it
