Naughty Dog made Crash games exclusively to the PS1, Jak games exclusively for the PS2, and then moved on to Uncharted for the PS3. None of their franchises span across generations. I'm guessing Uncharted 4 will be the first time they will deviate from this.

And Nintendo's back to the drawing board thanks to Wii U. All the profit they could be taking from Pokemon X and Y are gone just to support the flop. Atleast it's selling somewhat in Japan just like the struggling PS3 before the slim era.

Sony didn't report a profit from 2008 to 2012, keeping afloat is good enough for Nintendo especially since the hardware they released is new to consumers.

They have kept to that structure until recently but what I meant is that their games have never had narratives with a definite end. All of the franchises they have created can still be continued or picked up again at any given time (even when not in their hands [eg, Crash Bandicoot]).

Whelp I guess you should be mad and be bitter at Nintendo considering they did not even WAIT before PS4 to be announced. If they've waited for PS4's specs to be announced then Wii U could've dominated next gen. Teh NERVE of tem thinking they are gonna dominate again by releasing an underpowered console just because the Wii formula worked in their favor? Mess.

The only reason Wii even sold that much wasn't because of motion controls or the fact it was real cheap. It's because Sony ****ed up with that $599 price. Now they back to their senses. They ain't playing anymore. You should be glad to Sony they ****ed up, sis. It created a big hole for Nintendo and Microsoft to creep in. Not anymore, sis. it is NOW Nintendo that gave a big hole of an opportunity for Sony to fill in this time.
