Though I myself love Dr. Luke's productions and probably would not have become this huge of a fan of Ke$ha without them, I really, really hope there aren't fans here that would jump ship without Dr. Luke-produced songs. I'm never jumping ship
Unless she goes nuts or something. Or turns into Katy Perry.
A number of them have already said they would
I'm telling you, there's a real divide between what are Dr Luke stans and what are Ke$ha stans.
Imagine if Last Goodbye were the second single after Die Young.
It might have performed worse than C'mon. C'mon was massive on radio, the only problem was their timing in releasing it. They managed pretty much the whole era very carelessly.

I compare C'mon to Unconditionally performance-wise. Both decent radio hits without much stream/sales power to back them up. Both tailored-for-radio songs that somehow didn't stick with the buying public. I never understood RCA's decision to wait so long to release the third single, which basically killed the momentum for the entire era.
I agree with what you guys said here. I feel torn between wanting her to reconcile with Luke and have a fresh start with him with a new, refined sound, or continuing to push away from him.
I know that both options could work well enough for her. However: unless a small miracle happens or the timing is just perfect, probably only one of those has the potential to bring in lasting commercial success next era. Then again, I'm not sure how realistic it is to hope that she and Luke even can be on good terms with each other anymore, after the things we've been reading and hearing in the past.
If they can't work out this situation, then I'd want her to stray away from him and rather work with other producers. Whether or not those are pop/mainstream producers or not doesn't matter to me then. I want her to be happy and satisfied with her choices and the music she puts out. I know that the music will be good in its own right either way, so everything else comes second. Including commercial success.
Crazy Kid babe, I read your track list and it was flawless especially "this is how I imagine Ke$ha to taste" or w/e, was hot. And those lyrics, you better ghostwrite for Kween$ha.
$am, hun, I read yours and I added you to my ignore list :kpxo:
