I believe Jeff said it in the interviews he did pre-filming.
Anyway, I'm fine with the winner, but I'm upset
Ciera
didn't make it to the end.

wish Tina and Ciera would have got Monica to switch Monica was selfish and not thinking game, she didn't like Tina and she wanted to be the last woman standing, so she went with the 2 boys and lost. I think she could have had a chance to win if she went with the girls, I wouldn't have wanted her to win but she could have.
Glad Tina made it to final 4 though I loved her in Aus even though Colby basically let her win that one by taking her and she really made up for being 1st out in the first All Stars by making final 4 this time Also RIP to her son that died last week so sad

I hate the winner but the season as a whole was really good.
Some of the cast of Cagayan has been spoiled and it looks like an interesting cast.

It was a good winner, though, the nasty things he did really threw me off. Great season, imo. Can't wait for the next one, and for Queen Ciera and King Hayden to return. Funny how Hayden was a nonfactor for me on BB and I fell in love with him this time around.
Wait, Ciera is homophobic?

No. The jury wanted anyone but Tyson/Monica/Gervase to be in the F3 so they could vote for them, and that's been made pretty clear. The jury was creaming over Ciera's ""big moves"" (aka going to rocks with 66% odds that her alliance would draw it and her rude attempts to sway Monica). Tina had a huge redemption arc and she's a fighter, which the jury would've respected, plus she was at RI with the entire jury and had a chance to bond with everyone 1 on 1. Katie was the ultimate underdog. Hayden was the ultimate golden boy.
2nd place was the best Monica could hope for, at least with this particular jury, who was really sold on rewarding ""big moves"".

People like you are the reason they bring douchebags like him, Russell, Brandon, Coach, and Ozzy back incessantly, which is one of the main reasons the show as a whole is really turning into shiz. There's a reason Philippines is considered the best season since Nicaragua/HvV. You probably like the concept of Redempshit Island, too. Go ruin some other show by giving the host/producers terrible feedback as a viewer and leave Survivor alone.

Ciera was not rude to Monica. She was telling the TRUTH. Tyson was rude in telling Katie to take a seat at the jury, and denying sweet Tina a hug at the last immunity challenge. I'm sorry, but I agree with OprahIsBlack, I don't like villains of this caliber to win. Parvati was a villain but she was never out of line like Tyson, Russell and some others have been.

I have a sinking feeling based on her edit that Monica will be back again but I pray to every single deity imaginable that that doesn't happen.

Really? I got the opposite impression. Monica and Gervase seemed to get pretty unfavorable edits. Aside from those two, I could see pretty much anyone who made it to the merge coming back again, especially Vytas, Ciera, and Hayden. Really, even John and Marissa probably have a shot.
And really, aside from Brad, I liked pretty much all the new players this season. It was a shame we didn't get to see more of some of them before they left.

Well, my impression may have been slightly fear and paranoia based if it turns out I was the only one who got it, which is a relief. I'll just cross my fingers and hope to never see another Culpepper just like I want to never see another Hantz.
I would love it if Marissa or John came back. They left us too soon!

^^^Also Monica said in her post-show interview that she's officially retired from Survivor now.
However she also said that Brad's story isn't finished...

I finally caught up with this season
Queen Ciera is flawless and is HANDS DOWN the best new player in a while
I can't wait for the next season, but I honestly don't see it being a good season unless they do a tribe switch early in the game.
I also would love to see this twist (B vs. W) return in the future, with all new players, and no RI. I think it would be better.
All in all, I give this season a 7.5/10. It would be an 8 if it wasn't so predictable.
#QUEENCIERAFORFUTURESEASONS
Also, can someone recommend any older seasons for me to watch?
I've already seen every season since 2010, Cook Islands, Micronesia, Amazon, And Panama.
