You would think by now that the Base would know that a #1 doesn't mean a thing. Especially when it comes down to Kelly. She has a lot of songs that were bigger hits than songs that peaked higher.
For example Already Gone peaked at #13 on the Hot 100 but was a bigger hit than all of these songs:
#1 A Moment Like This
#6 Never Again
#10 Mr. Know It All
#10 Miss Indy
Some would argue and say that Already Gone was a bigger hit than My Life Would Suck and I agree. Even though suck was #1 and 2x platinum, Already Gone was the hit that shipped albums and has 5x more longevity than Suck.
And let's not forget that Don't You Wanna Stay was the biggest selling country song of 2011 but only peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Charts are deceiving. Longevity and sales matter in the end.
Who is Garth? I keep hearing his name and think you just misspelled Gareth Not Cupid/Llewellyn/Addicted blocking the Queen

All good points and I totally agree. I was just excited because for a moment she had a small chance of hitting number 1. It would have been great icing on the cake. I'm really happy with the album's performance and have heard nothing but amazing comments from tons of people that never speak her name. This era is a huge success and am so proud of her.

Preach!
I think a lot of people in the base forget that Breakaway peaked at #3. And I think we can all agree that we have NOTHING to complain about with that era (aside from Walk Away).
