At the very start of the year, Nintendo released its very first Nintendo Direct, about Pokemon and its legacy and history. At the very end of that direct, they announced Pokemon X&Y, the first ever 3D Pokemon game. I was BEYOND excited, after being disappointed by its previous games. The games looked fresh and brand new, and the wait of ten months took forever, with each month having new information. Every month I got more and more excited, and was shocked when I found out ATRL had a huge Pokemon fan base (we're the largest thread in the lounge btw ).
Finally the games arrived and they were amazing, and everything I hoped for
With its universal acclaim, its record breaking numbers, and everything else. Pokemon came to dominate Nintendo and ATRL
