- There is one exception, a sleeper hit released in August 2012 that didn't become big until early 2013 (take a guess

Hello and welcome to _braaady’s Top 12 albums of 2013. I will be counting down my favourite albums of 2013, posting every day for the next 12 days.
The way each album was scored was based on vocals, lyrics and production/music. Each song got a score out of 10 for each of these categories for a total score out of 30. These final scores were added up and divided by the number of songs multiplied by 30 to find a percentage. The percentage represented how each album will be finally ranked.
12 albums were chosen for a total of 171 songs.
Scores could include halves (i.e 7.5/10)
The lowest category score was 4 and the highest was 10.
The lowest final score was 16.5 while the highest was 30.
The average of vocals was 7.4
The average of lyrics was 7.6
The average of production was 7.7
and the average of the final scores was 22.7
Each album will be posted with the rank, percentage, track list, a short review, link to iTunes, mention of the highest scoring song and the lowest scoring song.
