Unbelievable. Every aspect of this album - the music, the videos, the concept, the release - is just breathtaking. I'm not even really a fan but I haven't stopped listening.
My biggest criticism of her has always been that everything is so formulaic, whether it be her music, her videos or even her performances which are all carbon copies of each other. Even 4, which I loved and was a step in the right direction, seemed to be her trying to cater to critics and wasn't really "her"
But it's like she bided every single original thought and idea in her brain and unleashed it all with one album.
I was just thinking about this. But I think the title is still amazing the way it is.

Why is 'Blow' the lead single? 'XO' should've been the lead one on pop and 'Partition' on urban. Both would slay. 'Blow' is actually not even in my top 5 fave songs.
The only real issues i can find with the album are the intros to the songs, that can be annoying when all you want to do is listen to the songs. I wish they were separated as interludes, so we were given the option to skip if we want... And Heaven and Blue are weak closers compared to the other tracks that started the album.. Everything else apart from Flawless, are great!
The way her and the team executed the release was incredibly smart, unexpected and perfect seeing as this is quite a personal album for Bey.
