Well i was reading up on distinctions between criminal behaviour, and if the intent is their, then it automatically makes them liable to be sentenced since it's a criminal act. However, without intent, it is a guilty act and therefore the Judge/Jury rules based on their self-belief.

Idk. It makes sense. It is true that some adolescents with an affluence of wealth don't understand the consequences of their actions....I feel for the victims and their family but it makes sense. I think any other teenager in this situation would have gotten jail time until they were maybe 21 or 25 and then 10 years of probation. ****ed up situation all together tho.

That is a load of ********. Anyone who took and passed a driver's test KNOWS that it is ILLEGAL to drink and drive and could result in negative consequences. He should've never had a car or a license if that was the case.
