I had a family friend in a similar situation... the guy ended up leaving the family for another woman, and although it was really rough for them at first, she ended up meeting another guy and I don't think they've been happier... not saying that's what's going to happen with your situation, of course, but what I'm getting at is if they think like that, they're not going to change... so you'll probably just have to put up with it until you're in a position to say, "I've had enough," and just leave.
