Beyonce's album wasn't ready at the time, and even if it was, "Standing on the Sun" wouldn't have been a good choice for the lead single. It could've been a promotional single released exclusively on iTunes along with "Grown Woman", or a single on its own that doesn't represent the era/album (like "Live It Up").

I really think she just has a lot of material and chose to put out STOS, Bow Down and Grown Woman for her tour without the intention of them ever being singles and for the "what about the video" imagine if the promo Ms Carter Tour with bow down was to have never been released and leaked y'all would've thought the same thing, at the end of the day none of these have been confirmed as singles and there's been multiple people who have worked with Beyoncé and it's beyonce afterall she can have over 100 songs to choose from and release snippets as much as she'd like I have a feeling she has a bunch of brand new material that's not STOS, bow down or Grown Woman
