Even if Taylor were local, who cares when her last album sold more in this one country alone than Rihanna, the world's most global artist etc. etc., sold everywhere in the entire world combined?
If taylor is so known WW then why has GGGB sold more outside the US than all of her albums combined? why can't anyone answer this?
Because it sold more in Europe, which is a big music market, but Taylor is huge in the biggest continent with over 60% of the planets population, how is that LOCAL you fool?
Being successful in one country means nothing no matter how successful you are. Just look at people like Utada or Tiziano Ferro slaying their countries yet no one cares about them. Taylor is the same, it's just that she happens to be slaying a bigger market. Being global is where it's at.

Both Rihanna and Taylor aren't global though. Rihanna hasn't achieved big success in Asia and Taylor hasn't achieved big success in Europe.
