I bet that's part of Ellen's 12 Days of Giveaways fake-out that she does to the audience before surprising them with gifts. I'm guessing Kelly will come back after the interview to sing an "unreleased song" that's probably terrible (consisting of mostly the word "bells") until Ellen stops her to give away the gifts.
Ellen's website says Kelly will sing a song from "Wrapped in Red."
