Instacheck is definitely cheating on some level. Its using an outside tool to analyze parts of the game data that Nintendo did not intend to be analyzed.

If it wasn't cheating there wouldn't be any point in doing it.

How is that not the definition of cheating? You use an outside tool to achieve results you couldn't within the game itself.

You liking it doesn't stop it from being cheating. That's not how it works.

Well we all cheat in a way. IV calculators may seem nice but they are still a form of cheating.

In the end my Pokemon are obtained legit and that's all that matters

Its a program you run over your wifi network. It lets you analyze Pokemon eggs before they hatch. It also let's you check the SV of that egg and yourself as a trainer. If you trade an egg to someone who's trainer SV matches the egg SV, a shiny Pokemon WILL hatch.
