I'm looking at the “Venus” single covers and idk why but what I’m getting from it (or at least what I’m hoping for) is that the video is basically Gaga on an acid trip envisioning herself as the Birth of Venus/some sort of extraterrestrial queen. The video would basically be half filled with her tripping out, and the other half filled with her as this ruler of the cosmos.
I'm just getting that from the single cover of her with the clam on her shoulder with her in a bathroom. BUT IMAGINE THO. The single cover with the scorpion on her forehead could be how she is in reality, and the colorful picture used in the audio video that also has a scorpion on her head is how she envisions herself in her acid-filled fantasy.
Then I'm glad it wasn't a single, cause that would have been the final nail in the coffin after the Alejandro and Born This Way videos.
I just hope DWUW will still be in the top 20 on iTunes before the video is out at this point.
I think that for once the timing has been ok. DWUW is still increasing on radio, I'll be here for the BTS on Tuesday and next week the video. So the airplay will be bigger, it will give the song a little boost on iTunes and streaming can give it a push too and we will have a Top 10 on Billboard.
