I couldn't find Gaga's base so this will do but I really wanted you guys to know. Francis Lawrence, the director of movies like The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, I Am Legend, Constantine and a hundred iconic music videos was on a Reddit AMA tonight and was asked about his favorite music video to direct:
Quote:
Q: Hey Francis, what was your favorite music video to direct?
A: Lady Gaga's Bad Romance for a combination of reasons. I found it to be one of the most fruitful collaborations I ever had with an artist. She loves music videos as an art form and that really helps. I really liked the song, and she was working with an amazing stylist so we had really amazing clothes to deal with. And the video just seemed to come together really organically and seemed to connect to people in some odd way. Because I thought it was so weird and so out there, and yet so many people seemed to like it.
Close second would be Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River."
