I think it's time for Britney, or Britney's team to publicly address her social anxiety, I know it would be hard but it is obvious that it is an issue for her and her team. If she can increase public awareness of a crippling social disorder it can only be a good thing, it would be hard for her but say what you want about Britney, she is one strong lady. If she wasn't strong she wouldn't have made it so far.
If Britney is uncomfortable about performing live, being around her fans, live interviews etc. to the point where it has become a fear or phobia then she needs to stop working the way she is now and find a way to reconnect with her fans in a different way. I think she should continue to make music and music videos but take the touring, interviews and performances way down but more than anything she needs to be honest with her fans and the public about why things are the way they are...I hate seeing her uncomfortable and sad.
