I mean, who releases a promo pic that everyone loves (even people from other stan bases, am talking about the first promo pic we got this era, the one where she was wearing that futuristic mask) and ends up with that ugly ass album cover & even tackier album booklet photos? I'm not trying to be super negative, I really do love this album... but this is a terrible point. If ARTPOP sales don't pick up, she's 100% going to have to play smaller venues and scale back the tour production, or sell her tickets super cheap. There goes her "touring power!!" and I do NOT want that.

Actually, maybe it would be good if the ARTPOP tour flopped. Touring is her true passion, so maybe that would be the kick in the ass she needs to stop fooling around.

That first promo pic, with the diving mask, could've been such an iconic album cover.



I don't mind the ARTPOP album cover, though. It's my favorite cover of hers to date but I really would've much rather preferred the first promo pic as the album cover.

What do they all have in common? They were used in multiple videos, performances, red carpet appearances, magazine covers, etc.

Gaga needs to be more CONSISTENT with her imagery and stop trying something new every time she walks out of the house to out-do herself. She has had this problem since BTW: new wig colors every day, totally dropping the visuals between singles, etc.

I have no idea why she's wasting cool new stuff like the fiber optic wig + new bubble dress on single appearances that no one sees, when she should be making them memorable.

Just look at her VMAs performance: we flipped out when she dressed in TF and TFM styles because they were memorable. The "Venus" look at the end, which she kept going for a few weeks (and I think was her best-received look in long time) + the aesthetic of I&V original promo images should've been a CONSISTENT theme for this era, but now she has already moved on. It's almost exhausting.

She best keep the current poofy blonde wig going for at least another week (if she can manage that long), it's a nice look.

Yes I agree, Gaga should either wear the poofy wig or the hairstyle from the O2 ad with the flowers at the AMAs in the music video on any TV appearance and sometimes on the street during the whole DWUW era. They both look amazing, will give everyone TF/TFM tease and create another iconic look for her.
But I still dont understand why she keeps the best stuff like the fiber optic wig and some other outfits from the Artrave like the moving dress under lock.
