I feel like i don't like artpop that much i just like few songs but they are not as good as rhe song on tfm/btw... if nostalgia is for geeks then, maybe, i'm a geek... i'm so sad for this, i was waiting for something better... but i don't want to betray gaga

The music might be good as single tracks but the overall feel of the album is underwhelming. It's like listening to a playlist made by a random dj

The album is solid. It sounds rushed because of some messy productions and some messy lyrics. Yes for Gaga this album is weak. Only because she has given us some great music, and because everything surrounding this era has been pushed down our throats. It's like "we get it gaga you tried to combined art and pop" but if she had succeeded people would know without her telling us every single day.
When TFM came out we knew. I mean when BR premiered we knew it was different and we love it. When the video cake out we knew how creative and innovative she was. Now instead of gaga proving it with her work she's just telling us. Like as if she became lazy or ran out of ideas to express.
Don't get me wrong some stuff is really good. Like the fashion films and the Venus performances(I love) but other then that, what happened to our beacon of hope? The woman who promised pop music would never be low brow. The woman who had us at her feet because she ****ing deserved it. The woman we could show off because she was so damn entertaining and creative.
The bubble dress
The iPod glasses
The meat dress
The poker face performances
The bleeding at the vmas
Maybe she has too much money to be creative or too much support.
We will never know... Muahahaha

Sorry, I tried to stay positive but the "Onion Girl" song title and the fact that she said that "Do What U Want" is "a little longer than usual" and is directed by yet another photographer has sent me over the edge. It's like she never learns. It just gets worse and worse and worse. And no, I do not enjoy ARTPOP and it's definitely not the comeback album it should have been.

There are short thoughts about all Gaga`s album.Maybe some of you , guys, will agree.
TF is very good,strong,well-produced and well-written gp-related fun pop-record .This is gaga`s most `poppy` album to date.
In TFM Gaga found amazing balance between artistic vision and pop-sound.
BTW has that unbelievable stadium feeling , incredibly smart mix of genres and deep personal meanings in each songs ( Political statements +cultural references+internal emotional experiences ).
ARTPOP sounds for me like the thing which is less `poppy` than the Fame, but,unlike TFM, has lack of balance between ,relatively speaking,`art` and `pop` ingredients.It still has songs with many meanings , with political statements and cultural references(Aura,DWYW,Venus,G.U.Y,Swine) ,it also includes ones for just having fun and feeling good ( Donatella,Fashion!, Jewels) and personal confessions ( Dope,Gypsy,Applause). Unfortunately, musical pieces of ARTPOP are not connected to each other trough conception stated by Gaga in the name of album, ,they don`t make common feel after listening to the record ( how Sissy already said).With other , less ambitious conception and name, ARTPOP would be club-banger and chart-hit .
