Gaga was criticized because most of the songs are overproduced [that's what I meant with 'noisy'. Btw I do love these songs]. She should follow the Edge of Glory/Do What U Want path, clever lyrics and clean production but without stop being 'artistic'.
Songs like Donatella, Venus, Fashion and Mary Jane Holland are an example of overproduced songs. All of them have amazing parts: Donatella and Venus the pre-chorus, Fashion the intro, Mary Jane Holland the post-chorus. With a cleaner production the songs would have been even better.
Even if I don't like songs I still keep them, I just don't put them on my iPod/phone.
