All of these numbers are impressive. I won't be grossing more than $50 dollars. K.
Stop fighting ladies and gentlemen. Keep it classy like Beyoncé.

She did multiple other stadiums throughout the world without Guetta as the opener.
But to be THAT big that you have an A list star to be your opening act. Rih just doesn't make it fair for the other girls.
And the fact that you're considering Guetta to be EDM.

If you have a hit song, it will be played at sporting events, in grocery stores, in boutiques, in pharmacies, on the radio when you're driving somewhere, in soundtracks, commercials, at parties, at your friend's house, etc. etc. If you are promoting a song (let's say, Run the World) over and over and clearly not many people are identifying it, how is that selling your album?
At the end of the day these albums sold what they sold. Doing promo could be compared to preparing for a race. You do as much of it as you can for success. But your success isn't viewed based on the amount of practice, just if you succeeded or not.

but If I beat you in the race without practice or do better than you on a test without studying....I honestly do expect the person who put in the most work to do better...maybe you don't but I do
maybe that's why beyonces tour is more successful cuz we the public knows she puts in more work on stage than Rihanna
and also while a hit single is promo, many artist have hit singles and flop albums....ask Jason derulo, pitbull, taio cruz and kasha....
its not easy to determine which is more influential on sales but I think heavy videos,tv promotion, ads, and little airplay of singles vs little videos,tv promotion, ads, and heavy airplay of singles.................I would still expect the first to do better
mind you beyonce had a lot of airplay of urban stations

P!nk has already played sold out stadiums with acrobatic-filled shows on the funhouse summer carnival tour. It's just that the acrobatics in the TTAL tour wouldn't be possible without a roof.

So Rihanna needed one of the worlds biggest DJs to co-headline with her in France which is one of Davids biggest areas

yes because 70,000 people bought a ticket for 30 minutes of a dj, in an area where Rihanna is STILL A BIGGER STAR.......2 chainz is a big rapper but when he was the opening, no one flocked there because of him, its just like an extra horray

Sure but if we're still talking about Rihanna here, she didn't do 0 promo. She had some pretty great promo opportunities this last era. Not to mention a hit single can be considered "prep work" for your album as it shows that audiences already have taken to your music and are listening to it. Of course though, there are exceptions to every rule as you pointed out (Ke$ha, Jason DeRulo) but that is mostly due to the fact that the public just doesn't care about the artist that much.

Now if you're bringing money into this, then Beyoncé wins. Her tour expenses are covered by Pepsi, L'oréal and MasterCard. Her take home pay is much, much higher than the other girls. Plus, her label doesn't stand to make a lot from this tour.

But Beyoncé has only played 1 festival in EU when PollStar list came out. So what exactly you're talking about. And if anything, PollStar has been under-estimating her gross:
PollStar:
Beyoncé
Palacio De Los Desportes
Mexico City, Mexico
19,027 / 19,107
$1,842,161
Billboard:
Beyoncé
Palacio De Los Desportes
Mexico City, Mexico
19,027 / 19,107
$1,858,905
---
Pollstar:
Beyoncé
Rod Laver, Arena
Melborne, Australia
47,320 / 47,320
7,608,937
Billboard:
Beyoncé
Rod Laver Arena
Melbourne, Australia
47,320 / 47,320
$7,890,660
------
PollStar:
Beyoncé
Allphones Arena
Sydney, Australia
56,822 / 56,822
$9,254,433
Billboard:
Beyoncé
Allphones Arena
Sydney, Australia
56,822 / 56,822
$9,422,280
That's just a few examples.
