Yea, you're right. FW was in the 50s before the music video dropped, so it had a long way to climb. It wasn't until the AMAs () when it was pushed to #1.

At best, I'm hoping it will get into the top 15 before the AMAs and sail into the top ten after the performance.

I think the video views themselves are great right now, and i'm sure this will leap into the Top 10 next week on the Hot 100. Then it might get another bump next week after the AMA's, but unfortunately that's probably it. Unless they seriously pull some maneuvers out of their hat. A discount would be nice.

Everythng about the song has been underwhelming. Capitol didnt build hype for the song, neither for the video. Maybe the performance will help, maybe.

I don't see any reason to doubt it though. Capitol's probably aiming for longevity with this single since they want the era to be 2+ years. It makes sense to keep Unconditionally on the back burner until Roar has done as much as it can.

It will probably continue to grow at radio for a few more weeks until the holiday freeze comes in. Depending on how much life it has after the freeze is over, it could gain a bit more.

For those unaware, the "freeze" is referred to a period in mid-December through early January where many radio stations will "freeze" their current playlists in exchange for Christmas/holiday songs and year-end countdowns. This tends to affect current songs by hindering their updates (either very small audience increases or large audience decreases). Most of the time (once the freeze is over), the song's audience tends to regain back to normal and gains a bit more. I recall this happening with Firework and TOTGA.
