Agreed. This thread is going nowhere since the mods don't even care to respond anymore and are instead just letting us run rampant. Would be better to close it since all has been semi-explained and you don't care enough to give us full analysis of the decisions.

But the blogs are private and majority of the times were not even linked to anything pop related in the first place. How would it be hurting the image of the forum now? The fact that the servers can't support everyone who visits the site is more embarrassing. The blogs clearly state, "Speak your mind in personal blog posts, for members only." But we are being censored? What kind of logic.
The mods really should've taken advantage of this announcement and added to the policy that in order to remain a member on the site, you have to show proof that you pre-ordered a copy of Britney Jean (in stores and online on December 3rd)
But unlike Comcast and Youtube, ATRL isn't a huge brand where the consumers shouldn't/don't have a say in anything. It's a pop music forum, not a worldwide product. If people have opposing opinions, you should at least take them into consideration to see if what you're doing is really going to make people satisfied.
The explicit ban and the illegal download ban are the only two policies which came straight from the owner, I believe. Users don't have any say in either because they're rules no matter what. Mods had a discussion about the easiest ways to distinguish acceptable/not acceptable from each other but that was it. If it was any other topic there there'd be options for discussion but this is straight from the top. Not much wiggle room.

Actually I do have a question. One of the mods, Lee!!, I think said that the owner said that he was the one who wanted to make the change in the direction. Who is the owner? Joe? Doesn't he only post like 5 times a month? Like... glad someone who is here all the time is the one changing everything. lol.
