I must say I'm a bit disappointed by Midnight Memories. Too many ballads and they try to sound like Ed Sheeran on some points. To me, the best song is "Midnight Memories", even tough it sound like a song that could be from Ke$ha's "Warrior"
Little White Lies and Diana are bops as well.
The rest swings between average and boring with "Right Now" being the absolute low point.
But I should have known, I mean they already released two fillers as lead singles. Next time they should keep more controle over their work, the whole "indie thing" doesn't sound authentic to me.
Right now I would give the album 3 out of 5 stars at best, probably some songs are growing on me.
