I don't think they even know what the countdown is for. They just put it there to make it look like they have more to offer with this app. They'll probably decide and work on it when it'll about to finish.

The app is just bad. I downloaded it, loved the into and the first graphics. But I wasn't exactly sure why i would want that app since i already bought the album and no, i'm not gonna try to make gifs. Why would i lol. So i deleted the app.

Listening to BTW (album) and I can understand why the music scholars are dragging ARTPOP. Quality wise, BTW is really good and cohesive. ARTPOP's production is prime but it sounds a bit dated and uninspired.

Listened to BTW for the first time since ARTPOP's release as well and sadly I agree.. BTW is a much better album than ARTPOP, more cohesive, more different from the mainstream
