If it means a #1 for Gaga, then why not? They won't lose the potential sales for MMLP2 this week just because they're out of stock. People will still buy them next week.

I wouldn't trust conspiracy theories. You should know very well that Gaga's haters will make up any lies they can in order to discredit Gaga.
I mean think about it - sure Interscope would love to have Gaga at #1, but as a business, withholding copies of MMLP2 is one of the stupidest moves possible. They'd be losing out on some serious profits. It's highly unlikely that they'd try to rig this week.
I'm glad the haters are suddenly accepting the Amazon reciepts as legit sales.
Even without them, ARTPOP will still be less than half of BTW's sales Katy's sales may have been disappointing to some, but at least she added 100k to her last album's sales. At this rate Gaga won't even be the #2 highest debut for a female this year.
