Metro Manila is fine for the most part tbh. I mean, being careful is pretty much a given, but it's really not that bad. After hearing stuff about mall shootings/bombings and all that though, I've been preferring not to stay in public places like malls for a long time.

Manila is very polluted and the streets here are very nasty especially in Quezon City. People coming from different provinces flock here hence the city becomes a over populated dumpsite mess

I still remember the Sm Megamall locked down last January because of the martilyo gang robbery shootout inside the jewelry shop. When the security shut down the mall people who were still inside were going crazy

eversince that incident happen, I stopped goin there.
it used to be my fave mall but its not safe anymore eh. I dont want to run around that mall due to some gang mess

There are obviously some areas that are more prone to flooding but other than that it shouldn't be bad unless the rains persist (and by this I mean continuous rain, no stopping) for more than 24 hours.

IMO every mall is not safe. The security is too lax. Like, they don't even check my laptop bag when I enter. Like, anybody with a handgun can easily walk inside without getting caught if they know what they're doing.
