May be my stanning got in front of me, but her her years are undoubtedly one of the most influential in pop history and more than Beyonce's.

Some of you Beyonce stans are really overrating her status. She's just an acclaimed performer, nothing more. Janet is acclaimed as an artist and performer.

I don't think anyone knows Janet outside of the U.S. At least she's pretty irrelevant here in Europe. Didn't know who she was until I joined ATRL. Beyonce however has always been a major popstar and brand everywhere imo.

So if Janets not known outside the US, could you explain to me how most of her record sales come from outside the states? could you also explain to me how she has the fastest sellout in the history of Tokyo dome, or the fact she was the most awarded female artist in the 90's in Germany? And finally, could you explain how she's influenced artists from every continent?

When Janet was Beyoncé's age, she was having one of the biggest selling singles of all time, Together Again. Who knew her back then? You're right, nobody.
That was the same period into her career as Beyoncé's is now: 15 years after their musical debut.

And when Janet rereleased TBTILAF in 1995 it charted again at #7 in the UK (where she was supposedly unknown). That was 3 years after it had reached #2. And that is more impressive than Get Me Bodied's charting.

So stop comparing Apples to Oranges. You can't compare their paths at the moment.

I won't say more. Janet's legacy receipts are everywhere. Beyoncé is one of the outcomes. So don't try to make this Diva fight happen, because it's not gonna happen. They love each other and they're both legends.
