I totally agree with ivi, I dont care about sales!! when I started loving hr it was because she was the most amazing performer ever, she added new parts/breaks to her songs that made them even more amazing, and that was when she had The Fame (which opened with 27k)
ARTPOP is one of her most epic albums EVER! no, it's not too mainstream, so everyone can go crazy and radio can eat it up!
for Example check Prism, I love it, its a great album, but show me one song that experimental, u can't cuz all of them sound the same generic pop songs! that's the difference with Gaga, if she really cared about sales she would've released 15 songs of po po poker faces.
The people that want to jump ship because of the sales can just go for it. There's not one artist that has had one successful album after the other, all artists (icons and flops) have had there ups and downs. This is just the downside, when she's back on her feet and selling like hotcakes again everyone will be running back and if she doesn't that's fine because as long as she's presenting us with great albums then I will be pleased.
I repeat ALL artists will go through that downfall, people with #1 singles and albums will fall and vice versa. I just hope the Kats don't get too cocky.
