Now she's about to have her 13th #1 next week on the Hot 100, an already 100m+ selling tour, and breaking records WW while so many other careers of the pop girls continue to wane...

Congratulations for ICON award. I'm so happy for her.
Everything is perfect about her career, well except for her music videos (last ones),
i think that her label needs to give her more budget for her videos and to find new team of people that are working on her videos.
We are getting another video where she is just walking around, staring at walls and e.t.c. boring things.
Look at Katy Perry's team i mean that is a ****ing TOP a top of the game her videos are visually perfect, her production is just insane.
Rihanna is current QUEEN OF POP and #1 pop start in the world, she definitely needs to have better videos.

Rihanna has enough budget during GGGB era she was getting over 500k a video. She's the one who likes her video that way, SHE is the one who didn't want a narrative video for WN. You can't always blame DJ, Rihanna wants it a certain way and she gon keep it like that.

I really don't think budget is a problem when it comes to Rihanna's videos this era. If you look at her tour, her single covers, and the videos they are all minimalistic.

- On tour she has very little props.
- Her single covers were all IG type pictures.
- Her videos are simple and straightforward.

Yeah to some that may come across as boring or cheap, but I get the feeling these things were all done intentionally to correlate to Unapologetic. The biggest songs of the albums were ballad/ mid tempo ballads and lyrically these songs were raw (WN, Stay) so it makes sense the video reflects that by being simple.

And Rih said in the behind the scenes video she didnt want to do a predictable love story
