This episode went by so quickly, probably because it didn't had much drama going on like your typical AHS episode. It's like the whole thing didn't start until we saw the Axeman leaving the house.

But I think it was because we are spoiled with so many brilliant episodes

IKR!! It's the first time that I'm watching AHS weekly, I watched the other seasons after they finished airing so I could watch a new episode everyday, 40 mins a week is not enough.
I love that Madison revives but this resurgence thing has been used so many times that it's getting less effective of a plot twist and death just doesn't feel as grave and serious anymore.

Actually, I find his appearance quite refreshing. He's one of those rare males on the show, and I think he's the only recurrent character so far who isn't involved with this coven war?
Evan is also important in the sense that he's one of the factors that helps shaping Zoe who she will be at the end of the season.
Plus, he's cute, hot and always naked. That fact alone definitely helps gain some more fans for the show.

This random Axeman drop
I see Zoe's finding herself and all, but damn these reckless decisions she has to go through to get there. There's literally not one character I hate yet, but Angela playing Marie is by far my most favorite. Fiona's next in line. She's slippin', but hopefully this is just a rough time and she'll be back on her feet.
They better not TOUCH my Miss Laveau though.
