The lead singer of punk-rock band Sum 41 has been hospitalised after he was attacked by three people in a bar in Japan. Deryck Whibley, the ex-husband of Avril Lavigne, was advised by doctors to cancel his upcoming performances, after an MRI scan showed his injuries included a slipped disc in his back.
