that's by estimating of pop bars.
someone in GGD made some calculation (and he is pretty accurate with each week sales). He estimated the preorder from the lead over Royals Venus got when it jumped to #1.
From that one jump (ie when all preorder downloads the song automatically), we can roughly know how much the preorder is by comparing it to Royal's weekly sales. Royal sold 300m that week, average it sold 43k per day, itunes is rolling chart.
in short, the estimated preorder is around 100k with latest dope's lead over the monster
video, radio and all that other stuff will do wonders for it.
