This is how I felt from the beginning. I feel close to nothing for ARTPOP and the EDM doesn't help. She's so much better than that. "Aura" is the best song on there because the intro alone is unpredictable as hell. I love it.

This. It's actually so stupid. As we can see, it's not a "flawless" album by consensus so trying to drag down those who don't like it is very silly.

Look at it this way: the album may not get a 70+ score but it'll still be in the green zone. The average pop album gets a score in the lower 60s. She's doing better than average as of now.
And no Metacritic score is going to change the fact that ARTPOP is better than The Fame and The Fame Monster.

You can't really call it a discussion when people are just dismissing your opinion and calling it wrong.
This is ATRL though... I've only been on the site for a few months but all I ever see on here is dragging and dismissal. I'm not saying it's right but it's what we're all here for.
Tbh, I'm glad the critics are being harder on Gaga. It'll show her what phase her career is in and it'll force her to make better albums. We all know how much Gaga cares about media perception. If shes smart, then she'll learn. Anyways I predict a 69-72 for this album. It's not too spectacular, it just shows she can put out a damn good album time after time. Next era she'll be planned out and come harder than before. She needs to stop being messy and get it back together. She can still get this era together and it starts with the DWUW video and promo. Then Gypsy, then G.U.Y and the era ends with new EP like TFM. And I hope the monsters learn too from this.
