It's sad that the critics are reviewing GaGa, not ARTPOP the album itself. If some other pop star now suddenly makes an album like ARTPOP, they would praise it to high heavens..
Sometimes you need to take off your stan glasses. The album is getting these reviews not becuase they hate her, is just because simply the album is not that good and it has some of her worst lyrics ever. TFM is still her best album, BTW with all the fillers has one of her best songs, and The Fame has the hits and the fun but daring pop music. ARTPOP lacks something and its quality is not on pair with Gaga's prior work, just that simply. I said it and don't ****ing regret one bit.

Critics always do that. They did it with Lana Del Rey, Katy Perry, and even Gaga herself with her past three albums.

Whole point is that it is pop music, though. She's using art and commercializing it through pop music, like Venus. Which is ironically the song critics seem to be hating the most. Them saying they want more art, and then them trashing the most artsy parts lol
