Huh? I was just explaining to you what each person does ffffff But yeah Troy doesn't pick singles. There's different departments for all of that stuff since it's a huge job that can't just be done by one person on a global scale.

Troy can't be blamed for single choices, just the business aspects of them.

I don't believe that. I think what they did was they took advantage of the public's interest in her. They thought "well let's see how far we can push the boundaries" and unfortunately did it at quite an essential point in her career that damaged a good center of her image. Her creative control lies vastly in her music not really her image.

I have seen you repeat that she is allegedly "done" "over" whatever you want to label it, but at this point it is not holding much merit. "Applause" did well, and the album will be one of the best debuts of the year worldwide. Anyway, great music always triumphs in importance to commercial success in my opinion. She can easily have both though, and she has been showing us that she can achieve both. I don't know what you expect of her? To be the #1 success at every point in her career? Lord.

Anyways, putting 2&2 together we can clearly know what happened: Troy probably wanted more coherent promo and probably wanted her to focus on DWUW for the time being, but Gags insisted on doing her thing and indulge, which resulted in that teary mess "Dope". Troy looked at the result and got outraged and they started an argument - this time the argument escalates like never before because of all the recent pressure - then BAM: one of them says enough is enough they split. It must have been like sudden (that is what we can be almost sure of: this wasn't planned at all - you don't turn your management structure upside down on purpose one week before releasing an album).
